Equity Committee

Meet Our Committee

Andy Dominguez - Instructional Coach
Andy Dominguez has been an English Teacher and Instructional Coach in the Clovis Unified School District for the past 21 years. Due to his background in rhetoric and composition theory, he often views issues of educational equity through a linguistic lens. He believes that all students come to school with a complex set of literacies that must be understood as an asset to learning rather than a deficit. He looks forward to promoting the achievement of underserved students as a member of the FCSS Equity Committee.

She has been with the school district for 12 years, starting out at Central High West Campus as a Student Liaison and is now at the District Office as Director of Student Support Services, Child Welfare and Attendance. While her day-to-day tasks are never the same, she finds she's most fulfilled when students invite her to walk alongside them to help reach their full potential.
