Central Valley Teen Parent Conference

Teen parents that attend traditional high schools are more likely to graduate. There are many schools, community agencies and government programs that specifically provide supportive services to teens and their children.

Every year Fresno County Superintendent of Schools host the Central Valley Teen Parent Conference. This event is for all adolescent parents in the Central Valley region. This conference provides breakout sessions for parents that cover a multitude of topics from labor and delivery to healthy relationships. The event also hosts a health and career fair that help parents get connected with programs and services to support their academic and personal goals.

The Teen Parent Conference brings together local non-profit and service providers throughout the valley to ensure all adolescent parents have access to community resources and programs to support the unique needs of teen parents and their children.

34th Annual Central Valley Teen Parent Conference

The annual conference will have over 20 breakout sessions that give parents tools and information on their children's development, education, goal planning, health care (prenatal and well-baby care), labor and delivery and reproductive health. We also have an all-male only track that serves the specific needs of fathers. The event also showcases a Health and Career Fair with over 25 agencies.
